I am a child of December......born halfway 'twixt Christmas and New Year. As such, I never really bothered with birthdays because everyone was busy or tired from all teh parteez. I went for a pint with my dad on the morning of my twenty-first (which was nice, as I didn't see him enough in those days). I seem to recall I did stuff all for my eighteenth.
I am now lucky enough to have a wonderful lady buzzing around me who is already planning my thirtieth, which is possibly jumping the gun slightly because I'm twenty-nine later this year.
In my opinion, a small seaside town trumps Luton.
