DIY disastersI just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

We've all had a B&Q experience!Managed to deliver us twice the amount of all the wrong 'bits' of kitchen on the first attempt. Then when asked to collect it they delivered another complete set of the crap they'd sent us the first time.
Four months later we finally told the nice people at B&Q that they, and their flat packed kicthens could go forth and multiply.
For a short time we actually had about 3 complete kitchens in the house
