DIY disastersI just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

@OsokI agree, the supermarkets get some pretty decent stuff if you can get past the snobbery. I'm working my way through a pretty good bottle of Sainsbury's own brand, I haven't worked out the distillery yet. and Morrison's have their own distillery, which I've heard good things about.
Give me a good highland malt, and I'll sit happily in the corner quietly dribbling myself to death... Islay malts can go down the drain though, it's all they're good for.
