No whistleblowers act when I worked for them.

I'm not vindictive, if he wanted to play fast and loose with a few banks, it's up to him. I have no moral issues with stiching banks up. They made a shedload of money from our business.

Erm, bollocks.
It is illegal not to report a crime. This isn't some complex money-laundering thing with you as an informant -- you are a criminal because you did not report a crime of which you were fully aware.
This isn't a techinical, moral/legal boundaries issue -- it's fucking fraud.
