This is a question Dodgy work ethics

Chthonic asks: What's the naughtiest thing a boss has ever asked you to do? And did you do it? Or perhaps you are the boss and would like to confess.

I have actually logged in to support McDonalds, erghh!
It is "brains" like that that has got us into this economic mess, increase the amount of food we order, or try and sell that which has not sold? McDonalds have the right idea. Just because there might be a demand for it doesn't excuse over ordering and wasting food, work in any supermarket and probably restaurant and you will see just how much food is wasted trying to meet supply. As soon as we accept, as a society, that we cannot have everything we want whenever we want it the world will be a happier place.

Good sense would be to order in less chicken, and more beef.
Less waste, more satisfied customers, sustainable business, etc, etc... profit.

Or just reduce the amount of chicken ordered
Sell up everything then close early and avoid the hassle of drunken yobs at stupid o'clock in the morning, it also depends on order quantities, when ordering more burgers do you need to order by the case, or can you just get a couple more thrown in, but that's not really my point.

Over ordering leads to waste, but so many companies do it for fear of upsetting a customer and would rather have something then not sell it, than not be able to sell someone something they asked for.
