This is a question Driven to Madness

Captain Placid asks: What annoying things do significant others, workmates and other people in general do that drive you up the wall? Do you want to kill your other half over their obsessive fridge magnet collection? Driven to distraction over your manager's continued use of Comic Sans (The Font of Champions)? Tell us.

When some of my friends crash on the sofa they seem to lack the gumption to lock the door behind them.
And post the keys back through the letterbox. Which means I usually have to take my keys with me and get woken up when they want to leave.

It's this lack of trust, mild hangover and being late for work, that resulted in me inadvertently locking one of them in my house for a whole working day yesterday.

I back you fully on this one.
A couple of mates stayed around my flat once, but not being ready to sleep and (them not me) full of MASSIVE DRUGS, they decided to visit the fairly secret local fisherman's pub which served at odd hours, almost 24 hours, because of the early/late starts of the fishermen. They went about 6am then stumbled back to mine about 8am and tried to break back in. My neighbour saw them and told them to get the hell off my window sill and one preceded to piss all over my front door. My mates are cunts, but you know, they're mates, so what can you do?

Trust issues
I have a friend (a police officer, no less) who invited a couple of interstate visitors to stay for a week. Since she spends all her time meeting the worst of society, she has some trust issues.

The solution to having strangers in her house? They weren't allowed to be *in* the house while she was out. No keys or access to the house. So, up at 6:30 am, out the door by 7:30 each day to try and amuse themselves until she got home at 5:00.
