This is a question Driven to Madness

Captain Placid asks: What annoying things do significant others, workmates and other people in general do that drive you up the wall? Do you want to kill your other half over their obsessive fridge magnet collection? Driven to distraction over your manager's continued use of Comic Sans (The Font of Champions)? Tell us.

Facebook vagueness
You know what I mean, the one line status updates such as "shall I, shan't I?", or "decision, decisions!".

Women seem to do this more than men, and they're usually followed by a torrent of replies saying "you alright hun?", or "you know where I am if you need anything" type bollocks.

Fuck off!

Yeah!
Fucking cunts, with their problems, asking for support from their peer group, like cunts. Worse than Hitler.

Vaguebooking isn't about asking for support
It's about seeking attention. When it's a 17 year-old I'll look the other way but most serial offenders are old enough to know better.

From what I observe, girls seem to dominate this type of pointless status update

As far as I'm concerned any form of Facebook use should be punishable by summary execuation.
The current policy of imprisoning anyone who uses facebook is far too lenient and doesn't provide a sufficient deterrent to other would be facebook users.

I can see why a prison sentence would be useless
10 minutes ago Joe Bloggs has changed his status: Just been locked up for using facebook, see you in 5 years, lol!

5 minutes ago Joe Bloggs has changed his status : Forgot about the whole prison for facebook usage thing and posted the status and a picture of my cell....make that 10 years now rofl

Just Now: Joe Bloggs has changed his status: Whoops 15 years..shouldn't have added my cellmate as a friend ;-)

etc etc etc

But the joy of Facebook is it's not populated by people from b3ta
in otherwords largely normal people; as unsettling as that could be to people who might even find this as vaguely threatening

I knew
someone who did this all the time.
It would usually start with this ":(" as her status
and if no one asked what was wrong it would turn to
"And now I'm crying"
But if anyone did ask it would be
"Oh never mind"
