have you tried talking to them about there addiction and being cathaholics?
there are several help groups that will be able to assist you in aleiveating this family destroying habit alternatively, i find that an average dose of rohipnol* is usually enough to do the trick , maybe you could try and slip some in to the communion wine , i also find the addition of a little lsd in to the holy communion wafers goes along way to reduce the stress and embarrassment caused by being a raging cathaholic.**
please be strong for them and if you follow my adice you will be a happy well balanced family again

*side effects include short terms of imprisonment
**it is well known and documented that taking to many communion wafers with your lsd can cause explosive diarrhea if in any doubt about the quantity to use simply double the original estimate and add 175% more this will cover all situations
