ouch!The painkillers weren't strong enough... those kapake thingies and some of the co-codamol stuff. Also, I have a tendency to hoard pills for when I'm on death's door (or in need of obliteration).
I don't know what knee clipping involves, but it sounds like it's not a barrel of laughs and probably isn't just a little bit ticklish. In fact, it sounds plain nasty.
Merry Christmas too. Given that I have to spend the next week in the parental home I could really use those painkillers about now.
