Aspirin nightmare
One time, (no not at band camp).. I was in Italy for the summer and awoke one hot morning with the mother of all hangovers, grappling wildly for a glass of water on the bedside table I magically happened upon an aspirin as well... Hmmm thinks me, that's a rather large aspirin, oh well..must be one of those Italian style ones! I'll just crack it in half and neck it in anyway. Cue two hours of really fierce fizzing noises erupting from my s stomach ..and me propped up against the pillows, belching furiously and frothing at the mouth..yes thats right folks you've guessed it, it was indeed a soluble aspirin..what a fool!!!
In my defence. I was still pissed...

This reminds me of a horrible time I was taking some discusting medication. It was powder sealed into those dissolvable capsules, and I used to have to burp up nasty tasting gas as they dissolved in my stomach.
Until one day one got stuck in my throat, these things were huge and uncomfortable when lodged, thankfully I felt the need to burp as usual so I let rip, hoping it would dislodge the capsule...

unfortunately the capsule had dissolved through so I burped 500mg of the foulest most disgusting powder up from below, coating my throat and mouth and leavingme dry wretching for the next half hour.


I took them with a large glass of water after that!

ah Roopy, that does sound disgusting (but did make me laugh!) I think your story def wins for funniest, but mine wins for foolishness!- at lease you were SUPPOSED to take your medication whole.. : (
