I've posted my wallet into a letterbox,
thinking it was an envelope.
Lot of red tape to retrieve it, I felt a bit of a knob so said to the postie "i suppose this happens a lot" jokingly.

He looked at me for a few seconds then said "no, not really."

I posted a newspaper once.
I had a paper round as a kid, and without really thinking I went up to a postbox, and posted one.

I still don't know why.

I had to go to the shop to buy a replacement to keep the right number for the round. It does make me wonder what the postie would have thought of it when he opened the box though...

When i was younger and needed to get rid of my porn. I didn't know what i wanted to do with it. I thought throwing it away would be such a waste, so i posted about 3 mags and a video tape in a random post box. On the off chance some one else may enjoy my stash.
