Not going out tonight...
I'm 17, and on New Years day all of my mates are going out. However due to the fact that im born in bluddy August, I would get ID'd on a busy night, such as this one.

I'm quite angry at the fact that I have to stay in with my parents, don't they say start the year as you mean to go along? I'm well and truely buggered already. No chance of getting off with some smart girl in my house is there :(

My New Year's Revolutions this year will be to A. Finally hook up with Shelly, B. Become more socially active ( I am already but it can't hurt to be more), and C. Start to drive!

Also an August child, i was also cursed with a "baby-face". Not much consolation now for you, but until late 20's i could pass for a lot younger than i really was.

(Then kids came along and i look my age now)

Make the most of it - it'll work out cheaper and your mates won't have any luck with the ladies (keep telling urself that anyway).

Being an August child is sometimes a blessing and a curse, not everyone has Leo the LION as their awesome star sign ;)

I'm in exactly the same boat as you mate.
Only difference is I'm older than you by a few days, so I'm a Leo (booyeah!).
That, and due to me living on the Isle of Man(meat) I passed my driving test when I was but a mere 16.

Ive got no problem with buying it, its just that on busy nights they I.D everyone! So i stay in on the bank holidays and such.

My kickass beard makes me look at least 21 lol.
