My fiance's drama teacher at uni was like thatHe had a friend who was a "performance artist" who hung himself from hooks for a living, and he talked about him all the time in lectures.
Inspired by this, one girl did a set piece where she ate beetroot for a week and then squatted on stage in white cotton knickers, and pissed dark red into a bowl through her knickers. That was her undergraduate final year piece.
