A friend of mine went skiing with schooland returned with his leg in a very large soft cast, which was explained as being a dislocated knee. The injury was sustained not due to the dangerous activity he was there for, but rather by dancing rather too enthusiastically to a Chilis song.
On the same trip a lad who has a reputation for having a low pain threshold broke his arm on the slopes and no-one believed him. He had to complete the rest of his run with said injury before he got any medical attention.
