My uncle used to work for Denby Pottery,Princess Anne came to visit them all once and all the workers had to stop what they were doing and stand in a line as she walked past them all doing royal-type things. I have been told that as the princess walked past my uncle, he stuck two fingers up at her (behind her back). A little chuckling from co-workers and she turned around to witness my uncle . . .
Now I could add some pun in here, what with it being Denby pottery and all, but basically, she had him fired.
