Rock band audience being all royalist and sentimental about a spoilt little attention-seeking girl carking it?
I don't think so.
I immediately went out and bought Class War, not because it's in any way good, but I knew it would be full of jokes. Sure enough, they were giving away a free A5 booklet with it filled with 'em. The only one I remember now is "What's the difference between Lady Di and 20p? You can always scrape 20p together."

The chorus of that song
goes "Diane, Diane, Diiiii-ane"

I know.
I still don't think anyone at a rock concert would have kicked off, and if they had done it would have been minimal people.
Rockers are traditionally anti-establishment, unless you're in America, and then it can go either way very quickly, but they didn't care about Diana as a person, only as a slebriddy.
