This is a question Narrow Escapes

IHateSprouts tells us they once avoided getting caught up in an IRA bomb attack by missing a train. Tell us how you've dodged the Grim Reaper, or simply avoided a bit of trouble.

Rock band audience being all royalist and sentimental about a spoilt little attention-seeking girl carking it?
I don't think so.

I immediately went out and bought Class War, not because it's in any way good, but I knew it would be full of jokes. Sure enough, they were giving away a free A5 booklet with it filled with 'em. The only one I remember now is "What's the difference between Lady Di and 20p? You can always scrape 20p together."

The chorus of that song
goes "Diane, Diane, Diiiii-ane"

It would've looked like a deliberate ponderance on her death to anyone in the crowd not familiar with the original

I know.
I still don't think anyone at a rock concert would have kicked off, and if they had done it would have been minimal people.

Rockers are traditionally anti-establishment, unless you're in America, and then it can go either way very quickly, but they didn't care about Diana as a person, only as a slebriddy.

I think we need more information about the nature of the festival

I think we need more drugs and hookers.

Very...
...small pit-village local pub run festival up in South Yorkshire. Generic audience made up of pub goers and local rock fans.
