I visited a matein his student house a few months ago in south shields, while we were there some ladies also visited. However, by the time they arrived it was too late for them to buy alcohol anywhere.
My mate attempted to sell them a bottle of vodka. Sell vodka to his house-guests. Lady house guests. And attractive ones, at that.
I know why English folk think we're mean, it's because of my mate.
