Ha! I have a similar one.Girlfriend goes to stay with parents in LA, invites me to come over.
I book two weeks and flights, tell her I'm coming.
"Ah, that might not be such a good idea." She'd done the dirty. Again.
I couldn't cancel the flights, so bummed around California for a while. Had a better time on my own than I would have with her!
