This is a question Pointless Experiments

Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

Stair jumping
I always wondered whether or not jumping down the stairs wrapped in a quilt would hurt more, or a sleeping bag.

Didnt really make a blind bit of difference, after the first jump in the quilt I woke up in hospital 3 hours later with concussion...

NOTE: dont jump down stairs wrapped in things

Unless
You're wrapped in bubblewrap. I once had the privelage of filming a somewhat moronic friend rolling down a (large) set of stone stairs wrapped from head to toe in a very large roll of bubblewrap. It did hurt, quite a bit, but he only had bruises. Unfortunately, it looked ultra-feeble.
