You need magic mercury boxes to change DC to AC and vice versa
and to change them to that size voltage the equipment is rather large like a cupboard, I was fairly sure that Tazers used a DC shock from a capacitor. Thats why you don't spasm with them you just drop, as AC alternates in voltage providing the spasm, because you are being shocked then the next second not and so on.
AC is also much more likely to give you a heart attack from even micro volts.
