Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

Hot Hot!
On the way home in the car once, I pressed the cigarette lighter in, left it for a bit, and then pulled it out.
At this point I decided to see how hot it was by putting my finger on the end of it.
Didn't half smell. Got some quality pus out of it a few days later, mind.

Been There
Done that. Only I was in the car waiting on my dad to pick something up out of his office. He goti in and asked "why does it smell like bacon in here?" Cue one mildly painful 8 year old finger being held aloft looking like a stubbed cigarette end. I still have no finger print on that finger.

That is
possibly one of the most painful things I've ever done.
Still, live and learn.
