Clowns.
Always been terrified of them red nosed bastards, I didn't realise this is actually a proven phobia, and more common than I thought. They just creep me out so much.

You know, there is no recorded phobia of clowns dating back before the Steven King film 'It'.
Although most people who now say they are scared of clowns have never seen It. This makes me think that people are ridiculously suggestible.
