Fairgrounds, theme parks, circuses and carnivals
Tell us about the time the fairground came to town and you were sick in a hedge; or when you went to a theme park or circus and were sick in a hedge

Ours survived the journey home
and a few months more. It lived in what had previously been an empty aquarium thing after the previous occuopant had started swimming on its side.
When my brother drunkenly fell into the fish tank as a 17 year old, the fish survived that. But with hinsight, I doubt it survived the rest of the night after he thought it was a good idea to put it outside in the fish pond.
Either that, or it's still down there somewhere, ruling the roost like some garden pond Loch Ness Monster.

and now I am wishing I'd made the effort to write that as a proper story.
And not a half arsed reply.
