It's built on the site of Passendaele battlefield. If you stand at Hooghe crater on a summer's day all you hear is the screams from the park. Such a wasted opportunity. Is it in the Jasper Fforde books where they have Somme World?

but if he agrees with my idea about turning the historic battlefield of Europe into a WAROMG! theme park then he is clearly a gentleman of great mind.
