Some cunt
has obviously faked the number plate of my car and is happily speeding around Staffordshire 80 miles from where I live meaning I am now having to correspond with the police to say that it wasn't my car and if they could possibly pretend to give a tiny rats ass that some bastard is breaking the law and probably driving without insurance and tax whilst I am getting speeding tickets it would be appreciated.

I have mentioned to them that to get from my work to the place of aforementioned incident in the time frame provided my Fiesta would have to be travelling at 240mph. Which it doesn't.

They are not being helpful.

I am getting angry.

I am now writing an angry letter.

You'll probably find

...it'll be ignored and you'll be threatened with court. If you go to court and give the evidence it'll get thrown out quite quickly and you'll make them look like assholes.

Just play the waiting game and don't pay any fines...

Go and see a solicitor
It's easy money for them. They'll be all to glad to turn up on your behalf and pocket the fees which the court will award. You might even get get a little compensation for all the worry you've had.

thats funny because I live in Staffordshire, and this guy I met said there some guy pissed off this shady character from Ashbourne and his plan to exact his revenge was to rent the same car, get plates made up and rush round the county hitting all the speed cameras to make the real owner lose his license!
