Rakky writes, "We've all done it. From qualifications to orgasms, everyone likes to play 'let's pretend' once in a while."
So when have you faked it? Did you get away with it? Or were your mendacious ways exposed?

many things today - mostly experience of what I was doing in my unpaid career. Well, not faked, more embellished, and I now can't remember who my references are on my CV that the interview panel would have received.
Oh noes :(

when are you going to stop treating this board like your own personal blog.

I just can't be arsed to update it and it tied in with the question.
Or are you just /talk-ing it up?

*sends you hopeful thoughts*

I hope so too - I desperately need this job, and more to the point I desperately want it. If I get away with this I will award myself a PhD in blagging.

bullshitted on things that can be easily checked on and you can in fact blag it if offered the job then you'll be fine.
Best of luck for the job :)

I may have exaggerated my skills a little and what I was entrusted with at one position, but the sentiment was basically there - communicate with people, lots of people, handle money, juggle lots of things at once. I simply embellished certain points, and besides I worked at two places simultaneously, and one of the women I worked for has moved on so they have no way of checking that...
Thanks :) I should hear later this week *is scared*

as you can do the job itself after the initial "here's what you'll be doing on a day to day basis" then I say do it :)
