This is a question False Economies

Sometimes the cheapest option isn't the right one. I fondly remember my neighbours going to a well-known catalogue-based store and buying the cheapest lawnmower they stocked. How we laughed as they realised it had non-rotating wheels and died when presented with grass. Tell us about times you or others have been let down by being a cheapskate.

Gyms.
If you want to get a good body - get paid for it - become a scaffolder.

I think that the laws of supply and demand mean that not everyone can become a scaffolder.
If you are going to join a gym, remember the chest and biceps are not the only muscle groups.

I fucking hate scaffolders.
There was a team of the utter bastards who regularly used to clank their fucking pipes for hours and hours right outside my bedroom window every saturday morning. A saturday fucking morning. Nowhere to be seen during proper working hours, no, these fuckwits waited until people were snug in bed, and hung over, before clanking in earnest. They could clank for Britain.

I still don't know why they bothered, as no actual work ever appeared to occur, other than the cycles of construction and dismantling of the scaffold.

Fucking clankers.
