I understand your irebut he has 200% earned his credentials. He produced Money Mad by the London Posse and their first EP way back in '87. His Justice Promotions company did wonders for hip hop in the 80s and his Live To London Jams at Camden's Dingwalls were the stuff of legend. Also his Notting Hill carnival shows were fucking amazing.
He also doesn't take himself at all seriously and is genuinely not a knob, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Yes, he's a buffoon and the music he plays is shit but he really isn't the twat you'd be forgiven for thinking he was.
