does appear to be a decent sort of bloke. And as for personalities, well, there's Eddie Irvine for a start. It may not have been a particularly pleasant personality, but as least he had one.

Mansell was a doughball though, and as for the Finns, words fail me. Hakkinen, Raikkonen et al are as dull as ditchwater.

Lots of Finns seem to be like this though. Remember when Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League a few years back? The players were jumping about in ecstatic celebration, except for Sami Hyypiä, who looked at best vaguely happy. The sort of vague pleasedness one would expect if he'd just filled in a difficult crossword clue or something!

Yeah...
The Finns do tend to be a bit Robotic. But while Raikkonen may never have said much he had his moments. Like when the Malaysian (I think) GP was stopped last year and he didn't bother to prepare to get started again, got out of his overalls and just had a Cornetto instead.
And monaco in 2008 when he crashed out and buggered off to his private yaught to get pissed...

I forgot about his conversation with Martin Brundle the day that Michael Schumacher was presented with his lifetime award, or whatever it was. Which went something like:

MB: So, Kimi, did you watch Michael receiving his award?
KR: No, I was having a shit.
MB: Oh! Well, at least you'll have a nice light car, then.
