Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

and well done on the 'I remember' bit too. Don't be put off by all this "we're a new generation, it's all different now" rubbish. Oiks like George 'Bullingdon' Osborne and David 'Media Failure' Cameron need old beasts like Ken Clarke and maybe even Heseltine (Heseltine!) to tap into the network of senior civil servants, CEOs and ex-Labour MPs they'll need behind them. Remember, these people were the middle management under Thatcher and Major, and the old blokes know their way around - Osborne would struggle to find the right door on Downing Street.
The policies may appear different, but the perspectives through which they'll be interpreted and carried out may be somewhat c1985...
