This is a question Family Feuds

Pooster tells us that a relative was once sent to the shops to buy an onion, while the rest of the family went on a daytrip while he was gone. Meanwhile, whole sections of our extended kin still haven't got over a wedding brawl fifteen years ago – tell us about families at war.

i have terrible aichmophobia
which is fear of pointy things like knives. someone just has to get too close and i freeze up or freak out. its disgusting and i cant explain what it is. obviously my nearest and dearest arent about to run me through with a dagger but as soon as im near someone else holding a knife, i inexplicably think somehow something will happen and i will get cut.

my dear old dad thought this was hilarious. until he took it too far.

i went for a glass of water in the kitchen when he was cooking. i turned around and he was waving the bread knife in my face. i immediately brought my hands up ... and he accidentally sliced my hand open.

he swore me to secrecy (which lasted 5 minutes) and i dont think it did my fears any good. HOWEVER i can now say that a family member has actually gone this far... even accidentally.

that's nothing
me and my sisters and brother have always been very physical when we argue. the upstairs doors in my mother's house have all got marks in them from such things as knives, screwdrivers, toasting forks, wallpaper scrapers, compasses, hammers and even chairlegs, usually with the chair still attached. i've had my head split open by a ledge(my brother's fault), my nose broken(my younger sister), my front tooth knocked out(younger sis strikes again), my lip split(yep, her again) and almost blinded by a pool cue(my brother).
we still get along just fine ;)

My brother shattered my middle finger
after chasing him through the house, he ran to the safety of the bathroom, as he closed the door, my finger got stuck in the hinge as i tried to push it open. He then slammed and locked the door to my agonising screams!

I still cant bend that finger properly!
