Indeed, thats exactly what I did last year
Camped near some nice people from Leeds, not far from the edge of the island. We can't go this year as getting married in summer which is a killer as Turbonegro are playing this time....

Any other euro fests in non-euro currency countries you'd recommend?

I prefer camping near Wan2 stage: trees for shadow, better music (mostly punk, dub, reggae and the Negresses Vertes folky type), better eateries, not as crowded, though noisy.

And since the beer from the island is crap, it's easier to venture outside to get some nice Pilsner Urquell or vodka from the gas station nearby.
