but Evil dead 2 was kind of sorta a remake of the first. Maybe not.

It does move the story on from the first one a bit, but i know what your getting at.

The's a musical version of the Evil Dead series running in canada at the moment. If you hunt around the's cast recordings of it floating about. It's very, very funny. Can't wait till it's get's brought over to the uk!
