No!I hate this film with a passion. My ex made me watch it and i was ready to kill him by the end of it. It's got about 10 min of dialogue and about 3hrs of space scenes with classical music over the top. Arrrgh. DULL. There are much better sci-fi films out, Dune for one, which is ace.
2010 is about a million times better.
