This is a question How clean is your house?

"Part of my kitchen floor are thick with dust, grease, part of a broken mug, a few mummified oven-chips, a desiccated used teabag and a couple of pieces of cutlery", says Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic. To most people, that's filth. To some of us, that's dinner. Tell us about squalid homes or obsessive cleaners.

Well, I'm a bit of a freak.
I'm utterly obsessed with cleaning and tidying, terrified of germs and have the saying "if it smells of bleach, you know it's clean." I just enjoy having an immaculate house, somewhere I can invite people back to without fear of it being a tip. I'm currently training the other half in my way of living - we've been living together for just over a year and he's learning.

Apparently dull women have immaculate homes, well call me dull as dishwater then.

I know what you mean about the fear
Usually my place is pretty clean, but during coursework weeks it's basically a sty. A friend dropped round unexpectedly for coffee and I spent the whole time she was there apologising and guiltily tidying things away.

Anyway..
My best mate's always had that thing about the smell of bleach. And she's a long way from dull. Her kids would rather she was dull at times...

...your post confirms this.
