Fire!We were all in my aunt's kitchen at the back of her huge rambling Victorian house. I was only small and had wandered off to go to the loo, but given up after finding the hall full of smoke. "That was quick," my mum said after a few minutes. "Yes - it's all smoky," I replied.
I've never seen adults move so fast.
So, like my cousin who'd managed to set fire to the roof, tell us your fire stories.

fireballWhen we were 15, me and my mate were bored and invented a game called 'Fireball'. This consisted of kicking a blazing firelighter around the garden. We found that the game wasn't really dangerous enough and so took it to the next level.
We wrapped 2 firelighters in a piece of cloth and lit them, then i took a petrol can from the garage and poised it ready to pour on the top. Upon pouring, the can caught fire and my natural reaction was to throw it away from me.
The entire garden (plus fence and hedge) turned into a giant pool of raging fire. It was a terrifying yet strangely beautiful moment in my life.
