Well I googled this storyfor evidence and the first result is from B3ta from 2005

so I'm probably confusing B3ta with real life again, but anyway...
the story is that a couple were flagged down at the scene of the Clapham rail disaster and asked if they would lend the rescuers a fire extinguisher. The couple declined because they "wouldnt get it back".
I remember hearing this story very recently so now I'm wondering what happened to the last seven years.
