Used to hear it all the time in Sydney.
The locals would spend eight months each year pining for summer and the remaining four months moaning about how hot and humid it was.

Australia's wierd
I spent about 3 weeks in the outback where the temperatures would exceed 40c most days, then travelled back to Sydney where the temperature was about 24/25c - and I've never felt so cold in all my life. Despite 24/25 is considered a very hot day here

Sydney has strange weather.
Very damp or very humid apart from a lovely patch in the autum/winter.
