I had three windscreens which got chippedand each time Autoglass went "Nope, can't repair it, we'll have to replace"
I'm not convinced Autoglass actually repair anything.
I have a chip in the current windscreen. Since I'm clearly going to have to pay for a new one at some point, I may as well wait for it to crack. It's been 2 years now.
