I had this conversation with a colleague once: (I'm the one asking if she had a nice weekend)
"Did you have a nice weekend?"
"Yeah. Didn't do much, just stayed home with the kids"
"Kids?! Whose kids?"
"Just mine..."
"Ah, ok. You mean your cats?"
"Yeah, my kids!"
