Caligula is a fascinating bad filmAs porn, it's boring. As a drama, it doesn't work a lot of the time, but it's so NEARLY a good historic epic (when it's not being porny), with actors of the calibre of Malcolm Mcdowall, Helen Mirren, Peter O'Toole, John Gielgud, etc it's frustrating in its badness.

I have to agree with thisI've actually got the full, unrated, completely uncut version of this, and it is hours and hours of unwatchable film, scattered with proper actors, and painstakingly out of place porn. A very lavish mess in other words.
