where they blacked up a new yorkerto look like an indian, and gave him a really bad accent, rather than actually hiring an indian guy who spoke and looked indian.
Almost as bad as the carry ons with Berny Bresslaw as the default blackman.

i watched that last nightWhat an actor. I only realised about 2 yrs ago that he was Isaac Stern in Schindlers list. literally had no idea.
I do believe having his nose allows him to take on about 3 or 4 ethnic backgrounds.
