This one will haunt me for years...Quite recently a mate whose Mum had died a while back came into the pub. We hadn't seen each other for a while, so we had a good old chin wag and a couple of pints. After a while we began making plans for what to do after the pub, when bold as brass, he said to me in a very loud voice "So have you got any weed? Why don't you come back to mine and we'll have a big smoke?" I replied, that while I thought this was an excellent idea, due to our proximity to the bar it ought to be a case of "Mum's the word eh?" He just looked at me for a moment, to ensure the full meaning of my words had time to sink in before saying "Not round my house it's not!" and then pissed himself laughing. I felt terrible!
