Only joking, nobody has read your book.

I want to read its book.

What's a book?

It's like a webpage that's incompatible with your browser so all the links are borked.

"Only joking, nobody has read your book."
So, your criticism of my writing is based on the fact that you haven't read it?

That's...not how that works.

I don't know.
The statement "nobody has read your book" is a pretty unequivocal and damning criticism if true.

Has anybody read your book?

I wasn't criticising your writing, I was making a joke about nobody having read your book.
Keep up, illiterate author.

If nobody's read my book
then everyone who says my book is shit is making a baseless accusation.

If people have read my book, then your allegation that nobody has is baseless.

Nobody has read your book, have they?

(, Sun 19 Aug 2012, 16:33, closed)
I don't think either of those scenarios works out in your favour.

(, Sun 19 Aug 2012, 17:53, closed)
No, you don't.
But that's how being wrong works. You have an opinion, but it's at variance with reality.

I would be more upset if noone had read my book than if people had read my book and were saying it was shit.
If noone has read your book that means that they think you're shit so they're not going to read your book on the basis that it will probably also be shit.

What's this book I keep hearing about?
