I accidentally used an old copy of the Geneva Convention.
The version I looked at didn't class writing a book as a war crime.

Are you saying that your book has been used as a method of torture?

I read it some of it so he could no longer accuse me of judging it based purely on him.
So yes, it's been used as a method of torture.

This apparently needs restating:
Writing a book = some people will like it and some will not, and some of those people will be on b3ta and others will not; in any event you will enjoy a moderate degree of success.
Endlessly harping on about being victimised by the same community whose webspace you unrepentently used as free advertising = everyone will mock your book, whether they've read it or not, and those who have not read it will imagine it as an extension of you, filled with whining.
