I found out the same thing......almost 8 years ago. I went out and got stupidly drunk and nearly fell into a river.
Then I went out with her anyway, for a while - not sure how it all finished up.
Cutting a long story short I got a Random Mystery Text Message™ on Monday and hopefully and old-flame-re-igniting is on the cards.
