my dad used to be a window cleanerone day on his round, he found a chicken down an alleyway. he knocked at all the houses in the street, but nobody knew who this chicken belonged to, so he brought it home.
it was a rhode island red, which we called lenny henry. it laid the sum total of one egg before my dad decided to give it to a local farm.
