I think if it happened again I would do exactly that.It's one of those things where I wish I had Hero Nakamura's powers so I could go back in time to see who dropped it and give it back to them, unless they were dirty crack dealers then I would have probably given it to a addicts charity just to smite them.

What not to do..Don't tell the staff how much money, or they're likely to just go and collect it themselves.
probably could anyway, just knowing where and when lost is probably enough for the rozzers, assuming they don't put it behind the bar after work.
I think it's terrible to lose money, but there are so few you can trust, although perhaps cctv could identify the one who lost the cash.
