Due to a mountain-biking accident (one of many) in my youthI caused myself some damage to by bollocks, which I agonized about for most of my teenage years out of fear that they wouldn't work, and I would never be a real man, my family name would die with my father's only son, etc.
That was until I got a Scouser up the duff a couple of years back. Same result. I felt like a bastard for a while but, you know, thank fuck.
