an oil painted outline of a knight and his maidenwhen we moved into our victorian terrace in the traditionally "gritty" bit of Bristol, once home to seafaring types we chipped the scabby old woodchip off a wall upstairs to find the aforementioned oil paintings on the plaster.

it's kinda creepy?having spent the night at (allegedly) the most haunted place in Britain I was terrified I might have awoken some sort of badly drawn ghost and would have to go through all that sort of shindig again.
